A free pilot for one Division B team, 2026–27
Practice your events before the tournament.
Science Scrimmage gives every student on a Science Olympiad team practice tests on just the events they compete in, on this season's topics, in the style of real tournament tests. Questions get harder as they improve, and the topics they miss keep coming back until they stick.
For students, parents and coaches on the pilot team. Works in any web browser.
Each student, their own events.
-
The coach sets up the team
From the roster, each student is matched to the events they compete in. A parent gives permission and picks their child's username and PIN. Students don't need an email address.
-
Students practice their events
Short tests drawn only from their events, organized by this season's official topics for each event. A wrong answer comes with an explanation, and weak topics come back in later tests.
-
Everyone sees progress
The coach sees which events and topics the team is shaky on. Parents see every test with their child's answers, and a progress report.
Modeled on real tournament tests.
We read thousands of questions from recent Division B invitational tests, sorted by event and by this season's topics, so practice matches what the tests actually ask. New questions are written from them and checked before any student sees one.
Not yet included: questions that need a picture (identifying a specimen, reading a weather map), Codebusters, and the build portions of build events. Those are coming.
Questions families ask.
Which events are covered?
The Division B events with written tests this season, using the official topic list for each. A student practices only the events their coach assigned them.
Where do the questions come from?
They're written by AI using past tournament questions as a guide to the topics and how they're asked. Every new question is checked by a separate AI review before a student sees it, and the coach can pull any question that looks wrong.
Do students need an email address?
No. Each student signs in with a username and a PIN. Students never sign up for anything themselves.
What does it cost?
Nothing. This is a free pilot for one team.
How do you protect children's privacy?
We follow the U.S. children's privacy law (COPPA). A parent gives permission before we keep a child's practice data, and can see everything and delete it at any time. Students' names are never sent to the AI service. See Security & Privacy and the app's privacy notice for families.
